CLOSET MAKEOVER: THE PLAN

SO… MY LAST BLOG POST WAS MONTHS. BAD BLOGGER, SHAME ON ME. SINCE MY LAST POST, MANY FUN DEVELOPMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. THE MOST EXCITING IS THAT MY BOYFRIEND AND I BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! I KNOW, SO EXCITING! THE HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL BUT OF COURSE I WANT TO DO PROJECTS – DIY PROJECTS THAT IS. BECAUSE YOU KNOW, I HAVE DONE MAJOR PROJECTS BEFORE AND I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING. NOT! LUCKY FOR ME THOUGH… I HAVE A SUPER HANDY MAN THAT LOVES ME SO MUCH THAT HE IS WILLING TO JOURNEY WITH ME TO DIY LAND.
SO, I DID SOME QUICK THINKING AND DECIDED TO TACKLE MY MASTER CLOSET FIRST. BEST THING IS, WE HAVE SEPARATE WALK-IN CLOSETS AND I GET TO DESIGN MINE JUST THE WAY I WANT. THE BOY SAID TO DRAW HIM WHAT I WANTED AND HE WOULD MAKE IT HAPPEN. WELL, HE MAY HAVE ASKED FOR MORE THAN DESIRED.

Out to Lunch: Sunny Spot

Sunny Spot Venice Triple Collage

I travel out to Los Angeles to visit family about three times a year and I can honestly say I have never had a disappointing culinary experience. If there is a chance I could end up there, you better believe I will know the best spots to eat. Not only do I enjoy the culinary experience, but also the people-watching and interaction with locals and perhaps other travelers. And, of course, by the end of one meal, I am pretty much already planning where to eat at the next (crazy?!).

Well now that I have shared my travel philosophy with you, I am super excited to share my favorite restaurant in New Orleans for breakfast and brunch! It certainly is not the fanciest spot but goodness gracious does it have some delicious food! I came across it a few years ago when in New Orleans for the French Quarter Festival. That is a whole other blog post entirely but just know the festival is a must!!!
